Log a Sale with Your Voice at the Point of Sale

Record sales hands-free at markets and pop-ups by saying "Hey Maker Studio, log 3 bars at $12 each" — no form, no fumbling.

June 22, 2026

What Changed

Logging a sale at a market or pop-up used to mean juggling your phone, a customer, and a form at the same time. Now you can record a sale with a single spoken sentence.

Before: Recording a sale required opening the Sales page, tapping the add form, and entering the product name, quantity, and price per unit manually — difficult when you're handing someone their purchase.

Now: A microphone button is available in the top-right corner of the Sales page. Say the sale out loud and it's logged immediately.

How It Works

  1. Go to Sales
  2. Tap the microphone icon in the top-right corner
  3. A listening session opens
  4. Say "Hey Maker Studio" followed by what you sold
  5. The sale is parsed and added to your sales log with product name, quantity, and price

Example Phrases

You say What gets logged
"Hey Maker Studio, log 3 Welcome Home bars at $12 each" Welcome Home × 3 @ $12.00
"Hey Maker Studio, sold 2 lip balms at $6 and one lotion at $18" Two line items logged
"Hey Maker Studio, sold a gift set for $45" Gift Set × 1 @ $45.00

When to Use This

This is designed for live selling situations — craft markets, pop-up shops, vendor events, and in-person pickups. Instead of fumbling with your phone while a customer is waiting, you can speak the sale naturally and keep the interaction flowing.

It also works well at the end of a market day when you want to quickly dictate your sales from memory before you forget the details.

Browser Support

Works in Chrome and Edge on desktop and Android. Safari on iOS 14.5+ is supported. If your browser does not support voice input, the standard form remains available.
