What Changed
A big thank-you to Buzz Soaps for suggesting an easier way to connect the things you use in your studio with their Maker Studio AI records.
Before: When you were holding a material container or mold, you had to search through Inventory or Equipment to find the matching record. That could interrupt receiving, batch prep, packing, or cleanup when your hands and attention were already on the work.
Now: You can print a scannable QR label for inventory items and molds. Scan it while signed in and Maker Studio AI opens the matching record and briefly highlights it, so you can get to the right place faster.
How to use it
- In Inventory, select one or more materials and choose Print QR sheet.
- In Equipment → Molds, print one label from a mold card or select several molds for a sheet.
- Print the Avery-style sheet, or choose Save as PDF for a quick no-paper test.
- Place labels where they are practical to scan, then use your phone camera whenever you need that record.
If you scan while signed out, Maker Studio AI will ask you to sign in and then return you to the item or mold you scanned.
This is a small change with a useful everyday benefit: less searching, fewer interruptions, and a quicker path from the workbench to the details you need. Thank you again, Buzz Soaps, for helping shape Maker Studio AI around real studio workflows.
