Country Auto-Fills Your Currency, Timezone, and Units

What Changed

Setting up regional preferences required filling in currency, timezone, and unit system separately — even though these are almost always determined by where you are.

Before: Each regional field in Settings had to be set independently. Selecting Philippines as your country didn't change anything else.

Now: When you select your country — in Settings or during the onboarding wizard — your currency, timezone, and unit system are automatically filled in with the correct defaults for that country. Philippines sets PHP, Asia/Manila, and Metric. You can still override any individual field after the auto-fill.
